\"\" Biography<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Professor Dr. S.W.G.K. Bulankulama is the First Professor of the Department of Economics in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. She completed her first Degree BA (Special) Degree in Economics with a first-class pass from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura in Sri Lanka, MSSc in Economics from the University of the Kalaniya in Sri Lanka and, Ph.D. from the Management and Science University (MSU) in Malaysia.  Prof. Bulankulama was able to promote to Professor in Economics at 40 years of age and being the youngest Professor of the field of Economics in Sri Lanka. She has won the Academic Excellent Award from Management and Science University in Malaysia on 29th February 2020. During her tenure with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities in the Rajarta University of Sri Lanka, Prof. Bulankulama proved her capabilities to be a team leader, with her dedicated work on teaching, research, and administration as the Head of the Department; Department of Social Science since 2010. She did an excellent job in this position and pioneered the establishment of the Department of Economics in 2019.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
