We are deeply committed to advancing academic research and bridging the gap between theoretical archaeology and the practical demands of cultural heritage management in Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In an ever-evolving professional landscape, our academic curricula are purposefully designed to move beyond traditional boundaries. We strive to equip our undergraduates and postgraduates with modern technical proficiencies, critical analytical frameworks, and hands-on field experience. By integrating scientific methodologies with classical archaeological inquiry, our programs prepare graduates to excel not only in traditional research and state heritage institutions but also across dynamic sectors such as cultural tourism, heritage administration, and museology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our department brings together a dedicated team of specialists whose expertise spans diverse facets of material culture, ancient eco-hydrological systems, archaeometallurgy, and heritage conservation.
