Prof. Olaganwatte Chandasiri Thero, the Head of the Department of Language, and the recommendation of Sen Prof. Lakshman Seneviratne. A warm welcome and an occasion were held on&nbsp;23<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;August 2023&nbsp;at the faculty premises under the chairmanship of the Dean of the&nbsp;Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Thusitha Mendis, faculty members, and students&nbsp;followed by a fruitful meeting with the Vice-chancellor to discuss further collaborative projects. More than 150 books related to Hindi literature, culture, and grammar and some paintings for the department were donated on this occasion<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
