Today marks a truly transformative moment for the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities<\/strong>, as we officially entered into a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bauddaloka Foundation<\/strong>. This landmark partnership represents a major step forward in strengthening our research capacity and enhancing student development within the faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the terms of this agreement, the Bauddaloka Foundation will fully fund all archaeological research activities in the Northern Province for the next five years<\/strong>. This generous support opens unprecedented opportunities for our academic community\u2014empowering staff and students to engage in advanced field research, contribute to national heritage studies, and broaden scholarly impact at both local and international levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration reinforces our long-term vision to elevate the Department of Archaeology & Heritage Management<\/strong> into a leading center for research excellence, professional training, and heritage development in Sri Lanka. Together, we look forward to shaping new knowledge, preserving cultural heritage, and fostering meaningful contributions to the nation\u2019s historical landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
