On February 13th, 2025, the Department of Social Sciences at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka hosted an insightful and engaging Valentine’s Day program. The event, held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hall Number 20, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, delved into the themes of love as portrayed in cinema and university life, with a special focus on the film Japanese Wife Bengali Movie.
We were honored to have Mr. John Dinesh, a talented actor and former Temporary Assistant Lecturer at the University of Kelaniya, as the guest speaker. His thought-provoking discussion captured the essence of love in both the cinematic and academic worlds, offering fresh perspectives for all attendees.
