Journal of Tropical Environment (JOTEM)

1. About the Journal

The Journal of Tropical Environment (JOTEM) is the official academic journal of the Department of Environmental Management, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, Mihintale.

JOTEM serves as a peer-reviewed, biannual publication dedicated to promoting scholarly work in the field of environmental management. The journal provides a dynamic platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to share original and innovative research that contributes to sustainable development, environmental policy, and practical environmental solutions.

2. Aims and Scope

The central aim of JOTEM is to support and disseminate interdisciplinary research focused on the integrated planning, policy, and management of the environment, especially within tropical regions.

4. Submission Guidelines

Researchers are welcome to submit original, unpublished manuscripts relevant to the journal’s scope. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic integrity and quality.

  • Submission Deadline: Submit manuscripts on or before the last submission date (announced via call for papers)
