Biography
Dr. A. M. P. Adikari joined the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka in 2009, and is currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in Economics in the Department of Economics. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Special) Degree in Economics from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. She subsequently completed a Master of Arts in Economics and a Master of Philosophy in Economics at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
Dr. Adikari earned her PhD in Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China. In recognition of her outstanding academic performance, she was awarded the Academic Excellence Award for International Students by HUST in 2023.
Her research interests include monetary economics, development economics, and international trade. Dr. Adikari has published more than 30 research papers in both international and local journals and has served as a reviewer for several reputed, indexed national and international journals.
