The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka proudly invites you to the 1st International Research Symposium on Social Sciences and Humanities (IRSSSH 2024).
IRSSSH will be held on the 18th (Wednesday) of December 2024 as an online event under the theme of “Advancing Multidisciplinary Research for Sustainability” The inauguration ceremony will take place at the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, while the speeches and presentations will take place on an online mode.
IRSSSH 2024 will be a golden opportunity for researchers to share their knowledge, experiences, and outcomes of research and contribute to the dissemination of valuable, innovative findings to a well-read audience. We encourage research related to multidisciplinary for national development.

GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS
All the authors should present their research using PowerPoint (MS Office) format 97-2003. Details of the presentations are as follows:
- Duration of the presentation: 10 minutes (8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for question)
- Mode: Online
- Language: English
REGISTRATION
- Rs. 3500.00 – Faculty Members*
- Rs. 4500.00 – Other local participant
- $15.00 – Foreign participant
* This opportunity is only available to faculty members who are the first authors of abstracts.
Note: Participants must all be registered if there is more than one presenter. Based on that registration, they will receive the certificates.
PUBLICATION
All accepted abstracts will be published in the symposium proceedings. In addition to that, the Authors will also be invited to contribute with the full papers to a special volume of the peer-reviewed faculty journal “Samodhana”, published by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.
Note: Please note that any research not presented at the research conference will not be published symposium proceeding. Hence, symposium proceeding will be published as online mode (E-copy) and it will be circuited among the presenters by using their registered email address.

Arrangements will be made to send the printed certificates by post
Note: Participants must all be registered if there is more than one presenter. Based on that registration, they will receive the certificates. This condition also applies to faculty members.
