The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka successfully hosted the International Research Symposium on 17th December 2024 under the theme “Developing Multidisciplinary Research for Sustainability.” The event, held at the university premises, brought together esteemed academics, researchers, and professionals to discuss and promote sustainable practices through multidisciplinary research. Rajarata University of Sri Lanka has appointed Professor S.K Naradda Gamage as the new head of the Department of Economics, effective from 20-02-2023. With extensive experience in economics, Professor Gamage is a nationally and internationally recognized researcher who has published numerous research papers in indexed journals.
